JOBS
We are currently looking for contract workers that are physically strong and able to help move equipment to, from, and at event locations in Austin, Texas, and surrounding areas.
Starting salary $25/hour
Shift times vary weekly: days, nights, often on weekends
At Cicada Lighting & Production we work hard, but we also have fun in the process.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds
• Can move light-heavy equipment for minimum 4 hours
• Be comfortable on a ladder
• Reliable, on time
• Polite, with a good work ethic
• Fast learner, follow directions
• Have transportation to and from work
• Eligible to work in the United States
• Flexible schedule
• Comfortable working with the LGBTQ community
• No previous experience necessary
• Interest in lighting design is a plus
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Carefully load lighting and/or other equipment from warehouse onto truck, unload truck at venue, help place equipment at venue, load truck at the end of the night.
• Go out of your way to be friendly to coworkers and clients.
• Keep interactions with the client and their team members completely professional.
